Tyler Hurley, a national champion amateur boxer, was wearing his school uniform when he was knifed in the shoulder on a double decker bus in east Londra.
Shocked witnesses described how a fight broke out in front of terrified youngsters as the bus travelled down the high street in Chadwell Heath at 3.55pm on Monday.
The victim collapsed in a pool of blood on the floor of the bus before the knifeman ran off at the next stop.
Paramedics rushed Tyler to hospital. He suffered a collapsed lung and underwent heart surgery, but doctors were not able to save him and he died of a cardiac arrest.
Adrian Martin, his boxing coach, disse: ‘He was the most naturally talented kid I have ever come across in a gym.

‘I genuinely believed he was going to be world champion one day… I can’t believe he has lost his life to this knife crime epidemic.’
Tyler won the Amateur Boxing Alliance junior novice national championships last year.
One local described the ‘horrible’ stabbing, detto: ‘There were groups of boys fighting on and outside the bus.
‘It was frantic, there was a lot of shouting… The boy was left for dead and the others ran off.’
Mr Martin said: ‘This guy from Dagenham jumps on the bus and stabs him in the shoulder, which severed his artery. I don’t think he even knew Tyler… Tyler never carried knives in his life.’
Ha aggiunto: ‘His mother was so strong in the face of it all, but his twin brother broke down. It was the worst thing I have ever seen.’

Yesterday his devastated girlfriend described Tyler as the ‘loveliest boy’, saying he had been on his way to see her to mark the 11th anniversary of her father’s death when he was stabbed.
She told London’s Evening Standard: ‘I’m devastated… I don’t know why he was attacked. He was just the loveliest boy. He would do anything for anyone.’

The club issued a statement on their Facebook page saying: ‘Thoughts go out to Tyler’s family at this sad time. RIP Tyler Hurley. Words can’t describe how we feel.’
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers, leading the police investigation, appealed for dash-cam footage.
An 18-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.
A number of weapons recovered nearby are being examined by experts to determine if they were used in the attack.
It is the second teenage killing in the capital this year. Last year a record number of teenagers were killed in London, con 30 deaths passing a previous peak of 29 nel 2008.
