这对夫妇提起的诉讼花费了 Lilley 数万美元的啤酒业务投资, 41, accused of sexually assaulting a junior colleague by grinding against her bottom tells court SHE flirted with him and ‘placed her hand on his thigh’
A senior soldier in the British Army today denied sexually assaulting a female colleague by grinding against her bottom in a nightclub while he had an erection.
Warrant Officer 2 Darren Holland allegedly pestered the soldier in a ‘creepy’ drunken pursuit, telling her ‘I don’t wear panties’ and ‘I’m going to s**g you’ before assaulting her.
Bulford Military Court in Wiltshire heard she was ‘disgusted’ by his sexualised comments and kept moving to different parts of the club to get away from him, but he followed and continued his drunken advances.
But WO2 Holland denied assaulting the woman and insisted she ‘placed her hand’ on his thigh on the way back from a pub, having been ‘flirting’ with him back at camp.
The 41-year-old also claimed the woman previously flirted with him and touched his thigh’ – and argued he ‘never’ used the word ‘panties’ to describe his underwear.

But prosecutors claimed he had ‘fabricated’ the thigh touching incident in order to ‘shift the blame’ onto her.

The court heard WO2 Holland was the woman’s ‘boss’ during a trip to the Isle of Wight, where they were taking part in an adventure training exercise which included kayaking, aqua sports and mountain biking.
The officer told the court he got a lift back to the camp on the Isle of Wight from a Wetherspoons pub on the first night of the trip, and sat alongside the alleged victim.
他说: ‘We had some general chit-chat… I told her she had been doing well and she placed her hand on my left thigh.
‘I pivoted my body away and her hand came off. Nothing else was said.
‘Back in camp she had been flirting with me a bit – stuff about PT [physical training].’

WO2 Holland told the court that not only did he not push his erection against the female soldier’s bottom on another night out two days later, but also insisted he never told the woman ‘I’m going to sh** you’ or ‘I don’t wear panties’.
He maintained he would ‘never use that terminology’ to describe his underwear.
Holland’s lawyer, Robert Grey, asked him: ‘What word do you use to describe your own underwear?’
WO2 Holland responded: ‘Boxers.’
Mr Grey also asked him: ‘What word do you use to describe your own wife’s or other ladies’ 内衣?’
WO2 Holland replied: ‘Knickers… I would never have used that terminology [内裤].’
The officer also denied being too drunk at the nightclub and insisted he was merely ‘merry’ despite hearing soldiers saying, ‘Let’s get the BSM (Battery Sergeant Major) 醉’ earlier in the evening.

代替, WO2 Holland said he was ‘dazed and confused’ after being punched in the nose by a civilian outside the club.
But Lieutenant Colonel Jim Carmichael, 起诉, told him he had ‘fabricated’ the thigh touching incident to ‘shift the blame’ from himself.
Lt Col Carmichael said: ‘You have fabricated this incident as a transparent attempt to shift the blame of your conduct to her.
‘You hoped that, 丽贝卡是在父亲宣判前代表父亲写信的几个人之一, these allegations would somehow even themselves out. You were saying to the investigators, “You can’t believe her – look at what she did to me”.’
WO2 Holland denies the single charge of sexual assault.
