    On the negative comments from critics who claimed Mohamed was using Iris for her money, Iris said it hadn’t spoiled the romance for her.

    Mohamed revealed: ‘She’s very, very fussy.Phillip smiled and said, ‘She’s the bossand Mohamed laughed.

    On plans for Christmas, Iris said: ‘We don’t yet, we don’t know whether we’ll be invited to one son or the other or we’ll be on our own, they might think we want to be on our own, it makes no difference.

    Mohamed added: ‘They visit us in our home and say congratulations and they give their regards for us. I give you all of you and all the people around the world who support us, strong thanks, strong regard, because all of you support our love story.

    Iris said she thinks their story could be turned into a drama. She revealed: ‘I’d like Julie Hesmondhalgh to play me. They’d make her look older, but she’s a magnificent actor and she’s got the same accent. credo [Mohamed] could play himself… He’s a dish.

    On what Irisfriends Glenys and Joyce think of Mohamed, Iris said: ‘They can’t get enough of him, they can’t get enough of him, he’s very popular, very famous in Sand Bay. We’ve been recognised in Bristol in a taxi. The taxi driver said, “Are you the KY jelly woman?”
