Gate CRASHER! Driver slams £60,000 Porsche into historic stone gatehouse after ‘overshooting’ junction… but walked away uninjured
A Porsche driver cheated death after ‘overshooting’ a junction and smashing the £60,000 vehicle into a historic stone gatehouse.
Police dashed to the scene after the Cayenne demolished part of a wall of the building near Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club, ウォリックシャー, at 9pm on Saturday night.
Dramatic pictures taken by officers show the mangled remains of the car following the crash.
Posting the snaps of the wrecked car on the force’s OPU フェイスブック ページ, Warwickshire Police said: ‘We have just attended this single vehicle road traffic collision on the Coventry Road, Stoneleigh.
‘The driver of this Porsche Cayenne escaped uninjured after overshooting a give way from the Stoneleigh Road and colliding through the wall opposite.

‘We remained on scene and arranged recovery of the vehicle.’
Residents living near the scene said it was ‘a miracle’ the driver survived.

‘There’s no speed cameras which is madness really. It looks like this driver had a very, very lucky escape.’
