    Looking equally fashionable, 苏菲, in her role as a Royal Colonel, stole the limelight with a pop of colour as she opted for a bright blue maxi gown, boasting a cinched waist and square neckline.

    The Duchess and Countess were joined at the biennial occasion by 皇后‘s first cousins the Duke of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

    She teamed her sophisticated ensemble with a gem embellished clutch and wore the silver Bugle Horn brooch of The Rifles, which she was gifted last year after Prince Philip transferred the historic military title of Colonel-in-Chief of the infantry regiment The Rifles to her in July.

    Adding to the glitzy outfit, 威尔士亲王’ wife opted for a smattering of glamorous makeup to add to her look and kept her blond locks down.

    Sophie ensured she looked just as elegant as Camilla, opting for a colourful set of diamond earrings and a silver to brooch, while teaming her vibrant gown with a metallic clutch.

    The Duke of Edinburgh had been closely associated with The Rifles and its earlier regiments for almost 70 年份. He transferred his role as Colonel-in-Chief of The Rifles to the Duchess of Cornwall in a socially-distanced ceremony.

    Prince Philip remained in isolation at Windsor Castle while the Duchess of Cornwall was at Highgrove.

    The Duchess of Cornwall made her first visit to The Rifles headquarters in September.

    The Rifles were formed in February 2007, following the merger of four celebrated infantry RegimentsThe Devonshire and Dorset Light Infantry; The Light Infantry; The Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Light Infantry; and The Royal Green Jackets.

    Forged during the campaigns of Iraq and Afghanistan, they are now the largest infantry regiment in the British Army. Their motto is: ‘Swift and Bold.
