Mark Rober spent twelve months designing the volcano after breaking the world record in an attempt last year which saw red goo soar to 60ft.

But Rober has smashed his own record using a ‘bomb prooffive ton steel volcano, which he spent a year designing, in a recent second attempt in Gridley, 캘리포니아.

Footage shows the YouTuber watching as the bright green plume of elephant toothpaste shoots 250ft in the air during a surprise for young blood cancer sufferer Brody.

The stunt is part of a chemical reaction with hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, and yeast in warm water.

Video shows Rober and Brody watching as the green plume of elephant toothpaste erupts in the air from the steel structure.

The volcano, which was 20 per cent bigger than the previous year’s attempt, was made from five tons of steel all fused together.

In the footage Rober explains he designed the structure to sit on a plinth of concrete, attached with 33 quarter inch bolts ‘with a total clamping force of 80 tons’.

Rober placed four troughs inside the volcano chamber, each filled with the catalyst, which then dumped the solution into the green tinted hydrogen peroxide pool below.

He and Brody can be seen watching from behind a transparent shelter as the green elephant tooth paste shoots 250ft above the volcano.

The substance appears to separate in the air before landing around and on the base of the volcano to jubilant cries as the local mayor and fire service watch on.

As Rober leaves the shelter and approaches the volcano continues to steam and spew green ‘lavaover the spout.

Pressure sensors revealed the force pushing the elephant toothpaste out the top of the volcano equaled about 50 times the force you feel when pushing against a fully inflated football.

It came after an attempt last year that went slightly wrongbut still broke the world record.

Last year’s effort saw an explosion of red elephant toothpaste climb to 60ft but the attempt was hampered as the goo accidentally shot out the bottom of the makeshift volcano.

비디오에서, Rober explains he failed to factor in the upward force of the reaction.

His second attempt was a surprise for blood cancer sufferer Brody, who spent his one and only make a wish gift on a quad bike for another young cancer patient.

Brody did not know the fellow cancer patient but heard his quad bike was stolen and chose to replace it, Rober can be heard telling viewers in the video.

Rober managed to surprise Brody who believed he had flown out for a day of medical tests and meetings with specialists.

He treated the teen to a ride in a Tesla, a flight in a private jet, a pool party, and several science experimentsincluding exploding four rainbow colored troughs of devil’s toothpasteduring the whirlwind day.
