‘Not what you might think of as the cheapest option- but it cooked up into pork and slaw burgers, I roasted the crackling, and put left overs in the freezer for another round,’ Leah said.
The mum made her rolls by removing the skin off a $12 pork shoulder and roasting that separately in the oven.
She then seasoned the pork shoulder with salt and pepper and seared it in a hot pan before placing it into the slow cooker with Master Foods Pulled Pork Cooking sauce.
Finally Leah cooked the pork for nine to ten hours and it fell apart with a fork and assembled the burgers with coleslaw.
The mum said her 19-year-old daughter loved it so much she went back for seconds.
