Furious parents have slammed a £10 ‘Winter Wonderland extravaganza’ in Norwich with a £14.50-a-ticket ice rink made of plastic mats sprayed with water and ‘two rides for toddlers’.
The fair, which advertised itself as ‘the perfect way to get into the クリスマス spirit’, is being held outside Norwich Football Club’s Carrow Road stadium.
The football club, でも, has been forced to apologise to ‘disappointed’ visitors who described the event as ‘horrendous’ and ‘an absolute waste of money’.
Tickets for the small market cost adults £10, with further charges for children wanting to use either of the two small rides on offer.
A ticket to use the ‘ice rink’, simply plastic mats that had been sprayed with water, cost an additional £14.50 for adults and £8.50 for under 18s.
Sarah Purton, who attended the event on Tuesday, described the rink as ‘a tiny rectangle of plastic’.

She said in a Facebook post: ‘A handful of food stalls, two small rides aimed at toddlers costing £2.50 a go and a tiny rectangle of plastic that’s supposedly an ice rink?
‘And a couple of bare Christmas trees behind a metal barrier does not make a “Festive Fair”.’
The event marketed itself as offering a ‘range of attractions’ across a ‘three-day extravaganza’, with entry to the event £10 for adults, £5 for those aged 13 に 17 and under 12s allowed free entry.
しかしながら, the market contained just four food and beverage vans and two small rides – a char-o-plane and aerial carousel which could only be used at an extra cost.
There were also two reindeer accompanying Father Christmas for those in attendance.

Chris Padreddii tweeted: ‘Carrow road Christmas fair…what a joke! No ice rink, trees just dumped with no decorations. Don’t waste time or money.’
Ben Seager added: ‘Not overly impressed that the particularly dismal Christmas Fair in the Carrow Road carpark is still going on, and we’ve got another couple of days of it. Music so loud my house is vibrating.’
A spokesman for Norwich City Football Club apologised to those disappointed with the event:
