    Announcing the news last month, ITV Daytime said their three big morning show’s will hope to make the day ‘even more special than usualfollowing an ‘uncertainfestive period.

    GMB will now not air again until the New Year amid the Covid surge.

    The show had been scheduled to run from Wednesday December 29 to Friday December 31, however bosses axed the programme in order to ‘protectthe TV team.

    A show spokesperson said in a statement: ‘Due to the pandemic and to protect our teams, we have decided to give them an extended break.

    ‘GMB will not broadcast next week, but will be back on air on Tues 4th Jan 2022.

    Elsewhere in GMB’s Christmas episode, 벤 shared his delight at being on air alongside his friends, insisting he had simply done as he was told by television bosses.
