    The footage shows the hearse driver speeding up to get past the slow moving vehicle near Spanish Point in County Clare, Republic of Ireland .

    Nella clip, posted online by Tom Bourke, the black coffin-loaded hearse is seen driving close to the back of a Clancy’s taxi.








    Appearing impatient for the slow-moving minibus, the casket carrier pulls out into the opposite lane and makes its move to overtake.

    The chauffeur bearer then quickly pulls ahead of the Ford Mondeo hearse, making a splash as it drives through a puddle on the road.

    As the clip comes to an end the driver is shown driving back into the correct lane in front of the mini bus.

    The video was posted to TikTok on Tuesday by Tom Bourke who captioned it: ‘Only in Ireland.

    The clip has since gone viral, receiving over 3 million views and receiving thousands of comments about the hearse driver’s decision to overtake.

    Kari Okeeffe added: ‘He really is late for his own funeral.

    Joanne wrote that she has a similar experience, aggiungendo: ‘My granny was cremated in August .. on way to crematorium the hearse did exactly this. We were in the car behind in tears laughing.

    Paul Parry joked that ‘at least he [the hearse] wasn’t undertakingthe minibus.
