Claude Isaac-Castor, 22 and Clifford Rollox, 31, are accused with perverting the course of justice between December 24 en 28 daardie jaar.
Prosecutor Mark Heywood told Southwark Crown Court: ‘It happened on a quiet London street. A man coming back to his home with his young family was shot and killed in front of them.
‘When you have seen and heard the evidence in this case, you will likely conclude that it was as brutal as it was thoroughly shocking.

‘The evidence will show you that it was done at very close range, the gun being fired multiple times until the target was not just put down but clearly on and beyond any hope of life.
‘That was clearly the intention not just of the man who pulled the killer but those behind what had happened. The primary purpose, the prosecution say, was to kill.’
Jurors at the Old Bailey were told that the location and the timing of the murder in Battersea were ‘significant’ to those behind it.
‘The defendants – the six men now in your charge – almal, say the prosecution, had some significant part to play in these events,’ Mr Heywood said.
‘They represent the team ”op die grond” who carried out the actions that enabled the killing to occur as it did.
‘The first four defendants, that you all heard named and saw standing yesterday, are those who collaborated to achieve the killing up to the event and just afterwards.
‘For that reason they are charged with what they achieved: moord.

‘The first defendant is charged in the basis that the prosecution say that he is the shooter. For that reason, he is also charged with possessing the firearm that he took with him and used.
‘The second, third and fourth defendants are charged with murder on the basis that they knowingly assisted in that venture, intending to do so.’
The court heard Isaac-Castor and Rollox attempted to cover up the murder afterwards by disposing evidence.
The five Swedes and UK national Rollox appeared at the dock, while a Swedish interpreter assisted in the trial.
