  • Less than a quarter of Britons believe the Covid pandemic is over and a third are still wearing face masks while food shopping, a new poll has revealed.

    More than two months after all コロナウイルス restrictions were lifted in England, there are still signs of a pandemic hangover across the country.

    The exclusive poll for MailOnline, conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, found that less than a quarter (21 パーセント) believed their life had entirely returned to normal, or similar to what it was like pre-Covid.

    Around half (49 パーセント) said their life had mostly returned to normal, 一方 22 per cent said it had somewhat returned to normal.

    Eight per cent said their life had not returned to normal at all.

    The survey also found that more than two-thirds (67 パーセント) did not believe the pandemic was over.

    This compared to less than a quarter (21 パーセント) who did believe the pandemic had ended.

    The legal requirement to wear a face mask indoors was lifted in England four months ago, オン 27 1月, although it was not removed in Wales until late March and in Scotland until 18 4月.

    The MailOnline poll revealed how many are still donning a face covering in their day-to-day activities.

    More than a third (34 パーセント) said they always or mostly wore a face mask while food shopping, に比べ 46 per cent who said they rarely or never wore one while in supermarkets.

    More than a quarter (27 パーセント) said they always or mostly wore a face mask while on public transport, に比べ 37 per cent who said they rarely or never wore one while on trains, buses or trams.

    One-fifth (22 パーセント) said they did not use public transport.
