Kate Moss watches from side of stage at Glastonbury hours after ex Pete Doherty performs at the festival… 17 years after former couple ‘married’ at Worthy Farm

  • The rocker, 43, hasn’t attended the popular music festival since 2015 while Kate was last spotted in the crowd at Glastonbury in 2013
  • He performed with The Libertines at Friday on the Other Stage at 11.30am
  • Kate, 48, was at Glastonbury on the same day, and was spotted at the John Peel Stage watching Primal Scream’s 10.30pm set
  • Pete and Kate famously ‘married’ at Worthy Farm in 2005 with a joke wedding
  • They famously sealed their former romance with a joke wedding at Worthy Farm back in 2005. The couple dated on and off from 2005 to 2007.

And on Friday, Kate Moss, 48, was spotted watching Primal Scream from side of stage at Glastonbury, just hours after ex Pete Doherty, 43, performed at the festival with The Libertines.

While Pete delighted crowds at The Other Stage, with a 10.30am opening set, his famous ex was seen enjoying Primal Scream who performed at the John Peel Stage 12 hours later.

Kate was spotted in prime position at the side of the stage, with a group of girlfriends as they watched Primal Scream’s closing set on Friday night.

The model was dressing in a glittering, embellished blouse and wore her hair down, while sporting black specs as she looked on intently as the crowds were entertained.

Pete returned to Glastonbury to perform with The Libertines on Friday, and the rocker was spotted signing a fan’s arm on arrival to Worthy Farm in Pilton before taking to the stage.

Renowned for his drug-fuelled youth and rocker antics, the guitarist and vocalist returned to the music festival this year after adopting a clean-living lifestyle and moving to France.

A far cry from his bad-boy naughties image, Pete took to the stage with bandmates Carl Barât, John Hassall, and Gary Powell.

Despite disbanding in 2004, the band reunited in 2020 for a series of shows – and are set to perform together again as the music festival returns for the first time in three years.

Pete was spotted in a navy vest and pair of shorts, as he leaned in to sign the tatted fan’s arm while on the campsite.

Known for a string of high profile relationships in his heyday, the rocker was most notably in a tumultuous relationship with Kate Moss from 2005 to 2007.

Back in 2005, Kate was at the festival to watch Pete perform with his band Babyshambles and the couple checked into the Chapel of Love and Loathing in Lost Vagueness.

They went through with a fake wedding that apparently was only valid for the duration of the festival.

At the time, the singer was at the height of his fame, with a reported £200 daily heroin and crack addiction.

Revealing details of the relationship in his tell-all memoir A Likely Lad, Pete described the couple’s split following a series of ‘blazing rows’, which would see Kate hit him with his guitar.

But despite his rowdy past, which even saw him serve two months in prison, Pete is now clean and enjoying life in France with his wife Katia de Vidas.

Katia is a keyboardist in Pete’s other band, Puta Madres – which is his third musical project, following the Libertines and Babyshambles.

Admitting life in France makes it ‘easier to be clean’, Pete previously told The Guardian: ‘It’s not a big drugs area here. Then, of course, everything stopped. So all the circumstances combined to make it easier to be clean, even for a conniving scoundrel like myself. It just wasn’t worth the aggravation.’

And as he prepares to take the stage again with the Libertines, the musician will debut his new image to the crowd of 200,000 people.

Taking to the Other Stage, often dubbed the NME stage, the Libertines are the first to kick of Glastonbury’s Friday performances – followed on by Kae Tempest.

The festival is set to run until Sunday 26 June, with stars such as Sam Fender, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Noel Gallagher all set to take the stage.
