Kristen Stewart has said she believes in a ‘lingering energy’ and claimed she ‘took in’ Prinses Diana for her Spencer role.
Praat met Die voog, the American Twilight star, 31, who is playing the Princess of Wales in the biopic, admitted her remarks ‘sounded kooky’ after suggesting she felt the royal’s presence.

Kristen continued: ‘I guess it sounds kooky to start talking about stuff like this. But there wasn’t a day that went by that I wasn’t like: “What does she think about this? I wonder if she can see me?”‘

Taking on the role was a ‘full-body exercise’, said the actress. ‘The most muscular, unintuitive, yet extremely instinctive thing. It was weird: I needed to master it in order to kind of mess it up.’
Spencer focuses on a fictionalised Sandringham gathering at Christmas 1991, when Princess Diana is at peak fame and about to split from her husband, Prins Charles.
The first trailer for the movie was released last month, with Kristen’s take on the late Royal’s accent heard for the first time.
Geset in 1991 and set for release on November 5, the short clip saw the Hollywood star roaming the grounds of Sandringham Estate at Christmas time as her marriage to Prince Charles breaks down in the wake of divorce and infidelity rumours.

The script, written by English screenwriter Steven Knight, who has also written Peaky Blinders, follows the moments when Diana realises she needs to ‘veer from a path that puts her in-line to one day be Queen.’
A similar Christmas was just dramatised on the latest season of The Crown, for which Emma Corrin earned widespread critical acclaim.
Kristen explained how the movie takes place over a three day-period with the wedding dress scene included in a montage that gives the audience a ‘taste of the scope of her life’.

‘When we put that dress on, it is embedded in a montage that kind of flashed her life before you,’ Kristen began.
‘Even though the movie takes place over a three-day period and even though I play her as a speculatively 29, 30-year-old person, we still wanted to give a taste of the scope of her life.
‘Kind of touch on every part, even if it was in kind of lyrical dance. And the wedding dress is embedded in that montage and putting that on was a spooky day,’ vervolg sy.
