Man, 26, appears in court charged with assault of 52-year-old left fighting for his life after attack following football match
A man has appeared in court after being charged over an assault that happened after a Queens Park Rangers football match in west London.
Jack Ellicott, 26, has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a 52-year-old man was found with a serious head injury in Uxbridge Road on Friday night following the Queens Park Rovers vs Luton Town game.

Ellicott appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday and will make his next appearance at Isleworth Crown Court on December 20.
Detectives from the Met’s Central West BCU continue to appeal to anyone who witnessed disorder after the match or who saw the incident which caused the man’s injury. Anyone with mobile phone footage that may be relevant is also urged to contact police.
Metropolitan Police Detective Constable Arrash Faghihi said the incident happened in an ‘extremely busy’ area and urged any witnesses or anyone with mobile phone footage which may be relevant to contact the force.
