A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 21-year-old woman was stabbed to death near a primary school in west Londra questa mattina.
Il Polizia Metropolitana were called to Roberts Alley in South Ealing, shortly after midnight.
Officers attended the scene, near Grange Primary School, with paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
They found a woman who had suffered a number of stab injuries. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, she died at the scene.

Police say they are ‘confident they know the woman’s identity and are in the process of informing her next of kin’.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody at a west London police station.
A crime scene remains in place and enquiries are ongoing. A number of roads remain shut near The Rose and Crown pub on Church Place.
A woman whose house backs onto the crime scene told of hearing ‘a load of people shouting’ in the night.

Lei disse: ‘I heard a load of people shouting but not a woman’s voice. It sounded like people were drunk.
‘I just closed my window and thought nothing of it because we heard it the night before as well. It’s such a shame. How awful.’
Grange Primary School remains closed today. A statement on its website read: ‘Urgent – school is closed today due to a serious incident.’
