A tiny Italian restaurant tucked away in Melbourne‘s inner suburbs will be serving its decadent signature gnocchi that uses a ‘record’ 29 cheeses from tomorrow Wednesday January 12.
Cucinetta in South Yarra is one of Australia’s smallest restaurants at just 29sqm and teamed up with That’s Amore Cheese to create the indulgently cheesy dish that will be available again on their menu from tomorrow until January 23.
The traditional Italian restaurant’s handmade, oven-baked gnocchi uses a whopping 29 cheeses in its sauce including buffalo mozzarella, smoked bocconcini, mascarpone, blue cheese, panettone and burrata.

Cucinetta crafted the 29 cheese gnocchi back in 2018 and offers it on the menu for a limited time each year with diners loving the creamy creation.
Priced at $39.99 per serve, the cheesy gnocchi can be enjoyed along with the eatery’s menu of authentic Italian dishes including risotto, pastas, arancini, and calamari.
29 is the theme of this unique tiny restaurant that also offers a wine list with 29 red and white drops.

Cucinetta has previously offered novelty cheese dishes like the parmesan wheel pasta that saw diners book out the restaurant every night during the four weeks it was available last May.
