A cartel released disturbing video footage of the moment 20 of its rivals were lined up side-by-side before they were executed in southwestern Mexico.
Los Tlacos henchmen accused members of the rival La Bandera of ‘extorting and killing innocent people’ before forcing them to kneel and interrogating them at gunpoint in the middle of a forest in the state of Guerrero.
这 Bandera gang is reportedly an armed wing of Guerreros Unidos, the cartel connected to the 2014 kidnapping of 43 students in Ayotzinapa.
At least four of the victims’ bodies were found dumped in the trunk of a car that was left abandoned in front of the campaign office of Iguala mayor David Gama Pérez on Wednesday morning.

One of the four victims found in the trunk of the abandoned car was under investigation for the murder of two men, the Guerrero State Office of the Attorney General said Wednesday
Authorities in Iguala, a city in the southwestern Mexico state of Guerrero, cordon off a street where a car was found abandoned Wednesday morning with four dead bodies. The victims were among 20 members of a gang known as La Bandera who had been kidnapped by rival faction Los Tlacos
It’s unknown if the remains of the other 16 victims have been recovered.
A masked armed member of Los Tlacos went on to allege that La Bandera leader Chucho Brito is a close ally of mayor-elect Gama Pérez In the shocking video footage that was released on social media.
‘People from Iguala, here are all those who extorted money and who were killing innocent people and women,’ the rifle-toting cartel member said. ‘The trash that had this beautiful city in terror. We told them and the time has come, this turf already has an owner.’

According to one of the individuals who were being interrogated, Iguala mayor-elect David Gama Pérez had awarded public works projects to Chucho Brito, the alleged leader of La Bandera, a gang linked to the Guerrero Unidos criminal organization. He walked down the line and pointed his gun at the heads of ten La Bandera members, asking them to identify themselves.
At one point he interrogates one of the individuals, who admits that Chucho Brito has a direct ‘line’ with the mayor’s office while another La Bandera henchmen says Chucho Brito has has made money off of construction projects that were awarded to him.

According to the Guerrero State Office of the Attorney General, one of the four men found in the vehicle was identified as Luis Ángel and was being investigated for the aggravated homicide of two men.
‘The State Attorney General’s Office will continue with the corresponding investigations to locate him or those who are likely responsible for this criminal act in the northern region of the entity,’ the Guerrero State Office of the Attorney General said in a statement.
