This is the shocking moment a drunk driver fell asleep at the wheel before mounting the curb at 100mph.
Footage released by police from August 22 shows the woman in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, napping in the driver’s seat of a stationary car.
The woman appears to have thrown up because there is a pool of vomit on the road outside her window.
A concerned passerby filmed the video and tried to wake her up.
He can be heard saying: ‘Hallo, you ok there?
‘Hallo, you okay?’
She woke up from her sleep but then sped off in her Toyota Hybrid and mounted a curb.
The man who spotted her called the police and concerned, followed in her pursuit, telling police her location.

Gloucestershire Police said the drunk woman drove erratically at up to 100mph on the roads of the A40 and narrowly missed other motorists.
She then swerved into Whittington village and officers found her car outside a housing estate.
Police burst into her home moments after she returned to the house and bodycam footage showed the woman slumped asleep on her couch.

They noted that the room smelt strongly of alcohol and one said: ‘We have had a member of the public that has followed you and they have seen you crash your car.
‘We know you have just got back, we have been just behind you.
‘Get some shoes and come outside with us.’

And the arresting officer said: ‘You could have killed yourself, you could have killed someone else.’
Police handcuffed her and took her outside.

A bottle of alcohol was found in the front passenger side of the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid she was driving.
She was disqualified from driving for 20 months and received a 12-month community order.
The drunk driver will also have to do 15 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days and pay a fine of £180.

James O’Keefe said: ‘That’s a ludicrously tame sentence for driving over 100mph whilst so drunk you vomit and pass out.’
