    When the victim’s mother arrived at the address Simpson was heard to say: ‘That better not be your mother. She will get the same.’

    Mr Aris said: ‘She said she was absolutely petrified and decided to go and stay at her mum’s. He was still ranting when her stepdad came to collect her.’
