    ‘Even when infected with similar amounts of virus, overweight and obesity are risk factors for greater severity of COVID-19 symptoms,’ lead researcher Dr Pia Pannaraj, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, told UPI.
