A pervert occupational therapist who sexually assaulted a disabled patient’s wife in her own home and a nurse at a rehabilitation centre has been jailed for more than two years.
Gagandeep Sharman, 37, was initially cleared of attacking his first victim when the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) refused to press charges.
여자, in her 60s, said Sharman attacked her in her home after he had treated her disabled husband.
She said he grabbed her from behind and repeatedly thrust himself against her while telling her she was ‘sexy’, 법원이 들었다.
After she lodged a complaint against him, Sharman was banned from making home visits but months later he preyed on a nurse at a rehabilitation centre.

The nurse reported him to police and he was arrested. He later admitted two counts of sexual assault.
On Wednesday he was jailed for 26 months and ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for ten years at Warwick Crown Court.
Describing the first assault, Judge Anthony Potter said: ‘You approached her in a quite disgraceful manner. She had not invited this in any sense.
‘You made sexually-charged remarks and began to thrust yourself against her. You went further and put your hand inside her coat and down towards her private area.’
Describing the attack on the nurse, the judge told Sharman: ‘You pursued her between a number of rooms before you followed her into a room and thrust yourself towards her in a similar way.
‘Treating two women in this way must be punished in that way.’

The court heard Sharman, 워릭의, had never had a sexual relationship when he attacked both women in 2019.
Prosecutor Glyn Samuel said: ‘It was arranged that a man who had a number of health problems should be visited by an occupational therapist to assess his needs.
‘When Sharman turned up, the man’s wife let him in, and she said that while he was dealing with her husband that morning, he acted in a completely professional manner.’
The court heard that when Sharman left, the patient’s wife got undressed and got into a spare room bed for a rest.
A few minutes later Sharman rang the doorbell and the woman put on a coat before answering it.
Sharman told her he had left his phone in the house and barged inside before the woman asked him to leave.
He then stood behind the woman and pushed his private parts against her.
Mr Samuel told the court the woman told him ‘no’, but he began to thrust against her.

‘She said he had to stop when the defendant said “But you’re so sexy”.
‘As she told him to stop, he attempted to put his hand inside her coat and continued thrusting.
The woman managed to struggle free and shouted for her husband before Sharman fled.
Mr Samuel said she reported him police but ‘CPS lawyers decided not to charge’ 그를.
His bosses banned him visiting people in their homes but he was allowed to work at the Rehabilitation Hospital in Leamington Spa, Warks.
While working at the hospital, Sharman approached a nurse while she was on the phone and put his hand up her skirt.
Later that day he walked in as she was doing online training in an office, and tried to grab her hand and to pull her skirt up and touch her bottom.
When the nurse tried to leave the room, Sharman grabbed her, tried to push her hand against his groin and told her, ‘snog me, snog me’.
Mr Samuel said: ‘She pushed him away, but he followed her. She managed to get into an office, but not before he had groped her and tried to grind against her bottom with his groin.’
