取扱説明書は叙事詩だったに違いない. Lego designers have built a life-size Toyota GR Supra using 477,303 bricks. And it’s even drivable – though its top speed – 17mph – is some way off the 155mph limit of the real thing. The team behind the build, comprising 21 model builders and two mechanics, invested a total of 5,400 時間 (225 日々) in creating it.
According to Toyota, the replica, built in the Czech Republic, is made from real Lego bricks, but has an electric motor and drivetrain and its seat, steering wheel and pedals were sourced from an actual Toyota GR Supra car.
It also has a metal frame as a base and a set of original wheels, and the exterior lights, indicators and doors are fully functional.

A video of the life-sized car was shared on Lego’s official Twitter account this month, the camera panning over its body and spinning wheels.
プロジェクト, in honor of the Supra’s 35th anniversary, was a big hit with Lego fans, 1 人の Twitter ユーザーによる書き込み: ‘That is awesome. I would love to see the build manual for this.’ ‘When and where can we buy this?’ wondered another, and a third said: エルのような雑誌に登場しています! Looks identical too.’

Lego unveiled a 299-piece miniature version of the car in June of this year, as part of its Speed Champions Summer 2021 シリーズ.
The vehicle was unveiled at Legoland Japan, where it will be on display until October 11, parked outside the City Shop.
