Children’s ward in Dublin hospital with signs on the stairs to show the number of calories burned by walking is branded ‘inappropriate’ – but some insist it’s ‘good motivation’

Amanda Lynch took to her social media platform yesterday to share her shock and show photographs of the stickers apparently placed on the stairs in Tallaght Hospital in Ireland.

Others agreed with Amanda, sharing their alarm at the posters, while some suggested they were good for ‘motivation’ and that the stairs were mostly only intended to be used by the staff.
Several Twitter users also noted that Tallaght Hospital is not the only hospital to use the signs, which show the number of calories burned after several steps.
