    Shane was laid to rest following a ceremony attended by 50 哀悼者, including his father Donal Lunny, at Newlands Cross Cemetery and Crematorium in West Dublin.

    The ceremony came ahead of a memorial service for the teenager which will take place in Bray, Co Wicklow, tomorrow evening.

    Sinead, who changed her name to ShuhadaDavitt in 2018, wrote last week: ‘My beautiful son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the very light of my life, decided to end his earthly struggle today and is now with God.

    ‘May he rest in peace and may no one follow his example. My baby. I love you so much. Please be at peace:’

    Shane was one of Sinead’s four children, along with Jake Reynolds, Roisin Waters and Yeshua Francis Neil Bonadio.

    She later tweeted a Bob Marley song which she dedicated to Shane, heartbreakingly describing her son as her ‘blue-eye babyand the ‘light of my life’.

    Shane went missing last week and was last seen in Tallaght, South Dublin, 在周五, with Gardai launching an appeal to find the teenager.

    Gardai renewed their appeal for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Shane on Friday.

    They said at the time: ‘Shane was last seen this [星期五] morning in the Tallaght, 都柏林 24 area. Shane is described as being 5′ 6’ in height with short brown hair and blue eyes.

    ‘When last seen, he was wearing a black hoodie with a large print design in the centre, dark tracksuit pants, a wine coloured t-shirt and white runners. Gardaí are concerned for Shane’s welfare.
