A terror suspect accused of tweeting that ‘all Poles should be gassed’ has today appeared in court.
Matthew Patterson, 22, is charged with possessing a document containing information useful for terrorism and posting an offensive content on social media.
Police are said to have found content ‘likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism’ in his possession in June last year.

He is also accused of writing two offensive messages which were posted to social media platform Twitter last year.
In one post on March 24, it is claimed Patterson wrote: ‘Can’t wait for Boris to declare that being Polish is illegitimate and that all poles should be gassed.
‘Polish scum don’t deserve the gift of life.’

The text was accompanied by an image from the war film Zulu depicting British soldiers on their knees aiming rifles.
The charges fall under the Terrorism Act 2000 and the Communications Act 2003.
Patterson, of Mill Road, Kettering, Northants, was granted unconditional bail ahead of a preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey on 15 십월.
