The UK’s biggest family could get even bigger! Sue and Noel Radford reveal they’d still consider baby number 23 as their Channel 5 series returns
The parents of the UK’s biggest family admitted they could consider having another baby, which would bring their total number of children to 23.
Sue, 46, and Noel Radford, 50, live with 19 of their 22 children in Morecambe, Lancashire. Their youngest daughter Heidi was born in April 2020.
Yet it might be that 22 isn’t quite enough.
Speaking on tonight’s return of their Channel 5 reality show, 22 Kids and Counting, the couple say they struggle to accept that there will never be another newborn in the home.

‘I get mixed feelings,’ admits Noel. ‘It’s a nice feeling to think Heidi’s the last. We can get on, just enjoy our lives, happy with what we’ve got you know with our 22 kids that’s it.
‘But then you get other feelings, that you’re never going to have that feeling again that a newborn is in the house that’s ours. There’s not much family planning going on, you just never know.’
Sue adds: ‘I don’t know what life is gonna be like without having a newborn in the house.’
Despite Sue and Noel’s eventual assurances that they won’t have another baby, some of the other children aren’t convinced, with James, 18, pointing out his parents have said similar things in the past – only to go on and have more children.
Elsewhere in the programme, Noel reveals his family bakery business has boomed in lockdown due to a rise in the number of takeaway orders.
The couple fund their family thanks to Noel’s pie shop and do not rely on benefits.

The family, who first found fame in 15 Kids and Counting in 2014 most recently starred in Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting.
The couple estimated they had spent £1 million on their brood before the birth of their 22nd child Heidi, whom they said could be their last.
