    Ridhwaan Farouk, 19, confessed to his manager at the sports retailer that he had stabbed Amin Talea, 20, in an ambush attack on a residential street in Birmingham.

    Bodycam footage shows the moment officers pounced on the teenage murderer while he was at work after being tipped off by staff at the Selly Oak store.

    Ridhwaan and his older brother Mohammed, 21, ambushed Mr Talea in a fatal doorstep attack after lying in wait for him outside his home on October 1 laas jaar.

    The court heard how Ridhwaan had asked his manager at JD Sports to drive past the crime scene a day later as she gave him a lift to work.

    Ridhwaan confessed he and Mohammed had been involved and it had been his ‘brother’s beef’, but he looked ‘shockedwhen she told him the victim had died.

    The court heard he responded by saying ‘f**kand commented he was ‘going to go down for thisand felt sick. Police admit to being mystified at the brothersmotive.

    His manager told a colleague about the conversation who phoned the police and Ridhwaan was arrested at his workplace in Selly Oak, Birmingham.

    Op Woensdag, the brothers were found guilty of Talea’s murder at Birmingham Crown Court and could face life behind bars for their role in the attack.

    Body-cam footage shows officers arriving to arrest Ridhwaan in his uniform as he worked at the front of the JD Sports store surrounded by sportswear and trainers.

    Mobile phone analysis later placed both men at the scene and Mohammed Farouk was arrested a few days after the killing.

    Ridhwaan, of Northfield, Birmingham, and Mohammed, of Bartley Green, Birmingham, had denied murder and went on trial.

    But they were both found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court today and will be jailed for life when they are sentenced on Friday.

    Amin’s family said in a statement following the verdicts: ‘I want to thank West Midlands Police for all of their hard work and effort in this investigation.

    They managed to bring justice for my son who I will forever love and remember and have been nothing but caring and helpful since the first day.

    ‘I would also like to thank the Court for their determination to bring my family peace.

    ‘I hope justice will be served for my beautiful son. I know he will be at peace after this. I pray that nothing like this happens to anyone else.
