    Speaking of their success, Headteacher Mrs Brown said: ‘It is quite a significant achievement for two sisters to be selected onto the Royal Ballet’s Associates programme.

    ‘Both Evelyn and Isla clearly love dancing and performing, and we look forward to giving them plenty of opportunity to do so at school over the coming year.

    It also offers students the chance to dance with others of a similar age who share the same passion and drive for a career in dance.

    Associates sometimes have the opportunity to perform with The Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and other ballet companies, while many have progressed through the School and into the Royal Ballet Companies.
