Women use sexual LUBRICANT as makeup primer in viral TikTok trend – but beauty experts warn the product could cause breakouts and clogged pores
Beauty experts are warning against trying out a Tik의 톡 trend which involves applying sexual lubricant to the skin as a makeup primer.
The hashtag #lubeprimer has racked up more than 10.4million views on the video sharing app and beauty influencers around the world have rushed to deliver their verdict.
The theory is that lubricant contains silicone and water, 어느, when applied to the skin, will create a smooth, slightly sticky base that helps make up last longer.

The beauty influencer said it helped her apply her makeup smoothly and felt good on her skin
However experts warned it also includes other ingredients that could block pores and cause breakouts.

Cara added: ‘It genuinely feels like a primer. It has a smooth feel and it actually feels really nice on my skin. Honest review, this is bloody gorgeous. It’s a yes from me.’

‘When you look at the ingredient list on lubricants, you’ll see they are not ingredients you would associate with skincare,’ Medical consultant Ifeoma Ejikeme, MD, 말했다 Who What Wear. ‘They can contain cooling, numbing and heating actions, which can cause irritation.’
